US GALMA – Exchange 2010
Step 1: Open the “Synchronization Service Manager”.
Step 2: Click on the “management Agents Button.
Step 3: From the Actions menu, click Create.
Step 4: In “the management agent designer”, From the drop down list, select “Active Directory global address list (GAL)”. Enter a name to identify the management agent by & click “next”.

Step 5: On the “Configure Directory Partitions” pane, tick the directory partition displayed and click “Containers”.
Step 6: Check all containers that need to be synchronized to MIM, including the container you will use to store the synchronized items in (Destination for the mail contacts). Click “OK” & “next”
Step 7: On the “configure GAL” page, click “Target”, followed by “Container” and select the OU where the mail contacts from the other domain(s) will be stored. Click “OK”.
Step 8: On the “Configure GAL” page, click source, followed by “Add Containers”. Tick the containers from which you want to import objects in to MIM. Click “OK”

Step 9: Click “OK”.  |
Step 10: On the “configure GAL” page, under “Exchange Configuration”, click “Edit”. | |
Step 11: In "Edit SMTP Mail Suffix", enter all email suffixes that will exist on objects in the exchange 2010 environment that need to be synced in the form of “@domain.com” and click “add”. When done click “OK”. |

Step 12: On the “configure GAL” page, click “Next”. |

Step 13: On the “Configure Provisioning Hierarchy”, click “Next”. |

Step 14: On the “Select Object Types” page, click “Next”. |
 |

Step 15: On the “Select Attributes” page, click “Next”. |
 |

Step 16: On the “Configure Connector Filter” page, click “Next”. | |

Step 17: On the “Configure Join and Projection Rules” page, click “Next”. | |

Step 18: On the “Configure Attribute Flow” page, click “Next”. |

Step 19: On the “Configure Deprovisioning” page, click “Next”. |

Step 20: On the “Configure Extensions” page, click “Exchange 2010 RPS URI”. |

Step 21: Enter the exchange 2010 remote powershell url in the following format: http://exchange2010FQDN/PowerShell Note: This is the Exchange 2010 server which was previously added to the TrustedHosts list for WinRM | |

Step 22: Click “finish”.
UK GALMA – Exchange 2007
